  • We will discuss your current issues, pelvic health status and medical history.

    A thorough physical assessment takes place. This may include an examination of your posture, spine, joints, hips, pelvis, legs, abdominal palpation, perineal and genital examination, and possibly a rectal examination.

    Together, we will decide how to approach the issues and in what order. This will probably include therapy in clinic, education, advice, and homework - including exercises, change in behaviours, further documentation of issues.

    We will decide together when you should return for another appointment.

    ShePhysio would like you to feel at ease during your therapy sessions. Your physical and emotional comfort is a priority.

  • Please wear comfortable - stretchy & loose - clothing.

    If you are trialling a pessary, please wear athletic clothing and shoes for physical activity, and possibly, running and jumping.

  • The first appointment is approximately 60 minutes long.

    Subsequent appointment duration depends on your therapy needs.

  • ShePhysio clients are:

    Women and girls and those born with a uterus with pelvic problems: bladder, bowel, gynaecological, prolapse.

    Pelvic pain therapy is a priority in this practice.

    She loves helping you during pregnancy and postnatally.

    ShePhysio welcomes gender-non confirming and transgender people.

  • Cost of consultation varies with duration of appointment.

    The cost includes the time spent in therapy session, administration before and after the session, letters and emails sent to you and your healthcare team, and consumables used during session.

    Please note the initial appointment must be pre-paid. All other appointments are to be paid at the time of the appointment.

  • You will be sent an email confirming your first appointment with instructions for pre-payment of the first appointment.

  • The first appointment is to be paid before hand - details are included in the initial email to you.

    ShePhysio uses TYRO and EFTPOS payment for subsequent appointments.

    Medicare rebates are applied for following full payment.

    There is no ability to process Private Health Insurance co-payments on site.

    Debit cards, Visa and Mastercard are accepted.

    American Express and Diners Cards are NOT accepted.

  • If you cancel within 24 hours, you will be charged 100% of the appointment value.

    I value time – both yours, and mine.

    This cancellation policy respects your commitment to therapy and to my time.

    I prefer you attend your appointment at the scheduled time.

    I understand personal circumstances may change. I prefer as much notice as possible. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellation or rebooking your appointment.

  • There is 4 hour parking across the road from the clinic. Please park across the road if possible for you.

    There is 1 hour parking in front of the clinic intended for residents.

  • TRAM:

    Tram 96: The nearest stop is Middle Park: #130. It is 2 minutes walk to the clinic.

    Tram 12: The nearest stop is the corner of Armstrong and Danks Street: #138. It is 7 minutes walk to the clinic.

    BUS:

    Bus 606: The nearest stop is the corner of Armstrong St and Richardson St. It is 5 minutes walk to the clinic.

    TRAIN:

    The nearest train station: Southern Cross.

  • Please cancel your appointment if you think you are infectious - this includes COVID, coughs, gastro, and diarrhoea in your family.

    I treat people with compromised immunity and aim to keep them safe.
